Hi everyone! Sorry I was away for two weeks. My little girl turned 4 and it involved turning the whole house into a bow-tique. Lots of preparation involved and in the end it was certainly worth it. She was one very happy camper!
So what has this author been up to? Well, in the past month or so I have written two books that will be part of an erotic romance series which might have up to 8 books in the series. Crushed, and Little Red are already complete. I’m currently working on book 3, Renegade. I can’t wait to start book 4, Haunted, but I have to finish this one first. I also finished a revision of Black Dove, which is one of my Young Adult series. It will be published under a different pen name as to keep the two age ratings separate.
I’ve done so many events and giveaways this summer that it’s hard to keep my own brain straight. I also released In Chains on August 1 and it has been receiving a lot of exciting comments from readers. I didn’t realize how attached I was to the story line until I finally put it out. It has made people happy, sad, and furious with me all at different points in the story. I didn’t do it on purpose. It is never my intent to play with people’s emotions; I simply go where the story takes me.
What else? I’m gearing up for Penned Con next month. It’s my first book signing and I’m totally nervous. Thankfully, my wonderful cousin Author Jordan Deen will be there too. We used to be thick as thieves back in the day. I haven’t seen her since I was a teenager. I can’t wait! During Penned Con, The Land of the Shadows will be free on Amazon for Kindle. Can’t wait to see how many people download the book at the event. What a great way to meet new people!
I am hoping to get back in the swing of things with my posts. Thankfully my wonderful street team has kept the momentum going even when I had to take a break. I can’t tell you how much it means to me to have such amazing people behind me. I’m humbled beyond belief that someone else believes in me so much. I’ve also had some fantastic reviews on Amazon lately and am just over the moon with the kind words of my readers. You all make me want to write more stories to keep you engaged.
